POLICIES
Refund and Returns Policy
All sales are FINAL - this applies to refunds/returns/cancellations for changes of mind.
For defective products, contact me as soon as you receive your package and I'll be happy to discuss solutions. Broken or defective products will only be considered for returns within the first 7 days after receiving the order.
Shipping policy
The default shipping option will always be Standard Royal Mail (no tracking). Most buyers are in the US and I’m aware it can be discouraging to pay more for shipping than the actual product. However, as there is no compensation for lost untracked mail by Royal Mail, I won’t be held responsible for lost untracked mail.
Please, consider upgrading your shipping to tracked mail to be fully covered.
Replacements will be offered only if there’s stock of the items or if the customer would like an alternative that is in stock. If there’s no replacement available that the customer wants, I’ll offer a full refund as soon as the lost mail claim is cleared. As previously mentioned, replacements/refund apply only to tracked mail shipments.
International parcels can take up to 4 months to arrive so please give time. I am always on top of tracking numbers so if there’s a longer delay than usual I’ll be sure to contact the carrier but please also try to contact the national carrier on your end.
Pin Trading/Resales Policies
-
Pins must be in-hand for trading, do not trade a pin you have not received yet.
-
Reselling for more of the price of the pin + shipping is not allowed under any circumstances.
-
Auctioning my pins is strictly prohibited.
-
You must own the pin for 30 days before reselling/trading or advertise it.
Violation of any of these rules could lead to banning from future drops and purchases on my shop.
Pin Grading Policies
Every pin maker grades their pins differently. I tend to lean towards a more relaxed grading method and my sight is not 20/20 so I can miss things from time to time. I never want to disappoint but it’s good to keep in mind that pins are handmade items so there is rarely such thing as a perfect pin.
For more picky pin collectors, please feel free to contact me if you find yourself with a pin that is under the grade you bought, we can discuss it but I’ll uphold the rules, if it your pin does fall under the description here then I do apologise but I won’t be exchanging the pin.
I am more than happy to accommodate and welcome criticism but please be kind.
P4P Pins
ALL my P4P pins fall under the A | B | C umbrella. This means quite literally you can receive an A, B or a C pin. I try to do my best to never send out a pin with a very obvious flaw ON faces, however sometimes this may not be possible.
As stated, P4P means Pay 4 Production, so I don’t spend as much time on them as in regular pins because that time is unpaid.
A / A- Grade
Pins under this grade are those that a first glance (around at a arm's length) look good on the facing surface. These pins do still have faults as mentioned before, these are handmade items, but they tend to be very small and only noticed either when tilted or closer to the eye. For me the difference between A and A- would be how evident the minor flaw would be, on A- are a little easier to catch. They'll normally be the best of a batch (if the batch has a common flaw then As on those batches would too) and any obvious faults on such batch will be disclosed to the customer. Here are some of the common A Grade faults:
-
Airbubbles: Small but noticeable
-
Enamel underfill: Small but noticeable
-
Metal plating: Small imperfections.
-
Polishing: Small unpolished sections only clearly noticeable when tilted.
-
Surface: Light scuffing or scratches.
-
Small nicks on the enamel or metal
-
Sides of the pin: Noticeable areas of missing plating or enamel spillover.
-
Screen-print: Small but noticeable offset in screen printing
I try to grade the pins on a well-lit room but sometimes I could miss some details that you notice, please I'm always open to be challenged on my grading, just contact me directly and we can reach an agreement.
Standard Grade (A/B Grade)
This grade tier is applied when a batch of pins has a lot of common defects, so in this case Standard will be the best of the batch (the pins that have the less amount of flaws and common flaws too)
B Grade
B Grade pins have flaws that are noticeable at first glance on the facing of the pin.
B/C grade pins can be somewhere along this grade or the next lower.
C Grade, Seconds or Lower
These pins have flaws that are very noticeable at first glance on the facing of the pin and can affect the integrity of the design.
They tend to have a lot of items from the A Grade list of faults on a moderate to high scale.
